    • In response to a RTI filed by Anil Galgali who is an  activist from Mumbai, shows that 40% of the Mumbai Ahmadabad trains sits goes unreserved.
    • Which gives a monthly loss of 10 crore or 30 crore per quarter.

  • Naval Project For 111 Armed Light Utility Helicopters
    • On a meeting of Defence Acquisition Council chaired by Nirmala Sitharaman has approved the naval projects for 111 Armed light utility helicopters and nine active towed array sonar systems worth Rs 21,738 crore and Rs 450 crore.
    • Out of the 111 helicopters 16 will be imported and 95 will be build in India as part of “Make In India” project.

  • World Bank Report Puts India at 100 Position In World Best Places For Doing Business
    • The annual report “Doing Business 2018: Reforming to Create Jobs” released by World Bank on Tuesday has put India in 100th position, earlier India ranked 130.
    • India had a jump of 30 rank in the list , this jump is based on various factor, India has shown great improvement on more then half of the 37 reforms adopted science 2003.
    • India has improved in 6 out of 10 indicator and 9 out of 10 in Distance to Frontier (DTF) indicators.
    • World Bank mentioned India has highest jump in rank among all the countries.

  • Indian shooter Heena Sindhu Wins Gold In Commonwealth
    • Indian shooter Heena Sindhu has bagged gold in women’s 10m Air Pistol event at Commonwealth Shooting Championships.
    • She defeated Australia’s Elena Galiabovitch with 2.6 points, Sindhu scored 240.8 while Elena ended close with 238.2 to have silver.

    • 7th Sultan of Johor Cup 2017 was played at the Taman Daya Hockey Stadium, in Malaysia.
    • Indian Junior Men’s Hockey team win against hosts Malaysia by 4-0 in the Bronze medal matchof sultan of johor cup.
