  • Public WiFi Soft Spot Cyber Attack
    • Government agency Indian Computer Emergency Response Team has given public warning to user of public Wifi like Airport, Railway station are vulnerable to cyber attack.
    • This warning came after it has been found that WPA or WPA2 encryption has a vulnerability which can be exploited by hackers to take control of the device.
    • Microsoft has already released an update for it while Apple and Android are yet to release.

    • Birthday S. Chandrasekhar: S. Chandrasekhar was born on this day in the year 1910 in Lahore. He was 3rd children to Chandrasekhara Subrahmanya Iyer and Sitalakshmi, They had 10 children. Chandrasekhara gave the world Chandrasekhar Limit which defines when a star can become a black hole. He told that when the mas of the star is greater then 1.4 times then our sun then stars dies to become black hole.     • As part of skill development programs India will start TITP with Japan.
    • Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan tweeted that Union Cabinet has approved signing of Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) between and India Japan on TITP.
    • Under TITP India will send 3 lakh youth to Japan for a period of 3-5 year. As part of this program the youths will be trained with different skills.

    • In its South Asia Economic Focus (Fall 2017), the World Bank reduced India’s GDP growth forecast to 7% for 2017-18 from 7.2% estimated earlier.
