It is observed globally to raise awareness on the serious nature and high rates of stroke all over the world. WSO works for the prevention and treatment of the condition along with creating awareness to stroke. In 2010 World Stroke Day was declared as public health emergency. - On Saturday night Haryana’s Mahendragarh hit by a mild earthquake of magnitude 3.5 in Richter Scale. At around 10:23 pm tremors were felt.
- No loss of life and property has been reported so far.
